This year&#8217;s event will reach its 178th edition. Every year, it is expected to attract <\/span><b>thousands of visitors in August<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As well as being an <\/span><b>exciting competition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, this event is also a <\/span><b>cultural<\/b> <b>celebration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that includes music, food, drink and other entertainment. The festive atmosphere in the unique setting of these riding events has made them a <\/span><b>beloved and respected tradition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the region, and one of the most important events of its kind in Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When are the Horse Races on the beach in Sanl\u00facar de Barrameda?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Real Sociedad de Carreras de Caballos de Sanl\u00facar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has approved the dates for the races, adapting as usual to the <\/span><b>tidal calendar of C\u00e1diz<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to ensure a good track <\/span><b>on the wet sand.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The first cycle will take place from the 10th to the 12th of August,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> while <\/span><b>the second will be from the 25th to the 27th<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the same month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The times <\/span><b>coincide with low tide<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which allows the thoroughbreds to gallop along the beach with plenty of shore. The show starts at sunset, and the horses compete in <\/span><b>more than 20 races throughout each cycle<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>More than 80 horses<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will take part in the unique <\/span><b>natural racecourse<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the beaches of Sanl\u00facar, between Bajo de la Gu\u00eda and Las Piletas. The enclosure organised by the Society at the finish line allows betting by watching the races from the grandstands or directly from the beach itself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to the <\/span><b>power of the horses<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the attraction of these races lies in the <\/span><b>incomparable setting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
